dc.description.abstractThis article aims to contribute to the understanding of children's literature, from the analysis of your essence. The trajectory of this literary aspect, explains the visions to conceive how a literature directed towards the extremes: pure entertainment or stern moralism, or, by assigning its existence to chance synthesizing it merely as a didactic instrument, without any no significant content or history. Excel here, don't understand it in these perspectives, seeking to know the origin, purpose and the paths that lead in contemporary times, highlighting trends, in a prospect of deconstruction of paradigms that still surround it, compromising the quality in the exploration of these productions. The central axis of this research focuses on the literary and pedagogical nature that composes the foundation of construction of children's literature. As a theoretical framework for the conduct of this study, we use of Zilberman (1987), Lajolo (2007), Coelho (2000), Gregorin Filho (2009), and Aguiar (2001).
