dc.description.abstractIt presents a block of composite material obtained from the use of cement, gypsum, EPS ground, sand, boiler ash from the buming of the residue from the extraction of palm oil and water for the construction of people's homes. This ash was subjected to a process of powder processing, through successive sieving. Wooden molds were made that allowed the manufacture of five blocks at a time. The dimensions of the blocks corresponded to lOcm x 26cm x lOcm. Inside the blocks can be placed on plastic bottles, beer cans, Styrofoam plates. The composite can be formulated to various mixing ratios and can be used to manufacture the blocks to be used in the construction of a residence for low-income families Tests of compressive strength of the composite for various formulations that met the specifíc standard for blocks used in construction. To study the thermal conductivity of the composite to further study of thermal comfort generated in a residence built with the composite proposed. Will be demonstrated the viability of using composite for the proposed order and the chosen formulation more efficient.
