Resumen
This academic work it is an approach about the report of experience as a scholarship holders
in the Institutional Program of the Initiation to Teaching Grant - PIBID / Physical Education /
UFRN (Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte), in the Public School Berilo Wanderley,
Natal, RN, in which the topic of struggles was developed in the third bimester of 2016, with
the classes of the first and second grades of high school. The work aims to identify the
difficulties encountered in the planning and implementation of the Freestyle Olympic
Wrestling modalities, called in Brazil of Luta Olímpica Estilo Livre (DANTAS, 2017), and
boxer in the school environment. As a methodology, the present study was based on
bibliographical research and the field study, which included assistance and supervision, from
the planning-application of the classes to the action research, of the teacher supervising the
course. PIBID. It was possible to observe that the less famous modalities among the Brazilian
public, have acceptance and applicability within the school, however, they lack specialized
bibliography in the Portuguese language.
