| dc.description | Considering the importance of public investments for the development of tourism, the research aims to reveal the destination and profile of the resources executed by the Ministry of Tourism (MTur), in the period from 2003 to 2018. The research is descriptive and quantitative, based on the survey of data from the Union's Budget Execution Reports. The results of the survey allow us to conclude that the Northeast was the region that concentrated public investments in tourism over 16 years, followed by the Southeast region. The South, Midwest and North regions covered the smallest installments of investments. The resources applied by MTur were mainly in basic and tourist infrastructure and in second place in tourism promotion. | |
| dc.description | Considerando a importância dos investimentos públicos para o desenvolvimento do turismo, a pesquisa tem como objetivo revelar o destino e o perfil dos recursos executados pelo Ministério do Turismo (MTur), no período de 2003 a 2018. A pesquisa é descritiva e quantitativa, baseada no levantamento de dados dos Relatórios de Execução Orçamentária da União. Os resultados da pesquisa permitem concluir que o Nordeste foi a região que concentrou os investimentos públicos em turismo ao longo de 16 anos, seguida pela região Sudeste. A região Sul, Centro-Oeste e Norte, abarcaram as menores parcelas dos investimentos. Os recursos aplicados pelo MTur foram majoritariamente em infraestrutura básica e turística e em segundo lugar em promoção turística. | |
