Resumen
This work aims at problematizing the concept of indoctrination presented by the “Escola Sem Partido” (Partyless School) Movement (MESP) based on the conceptions of learning and development proposed by Jean Paiget’s Genetic Epistemology. It is a theoretical study based on documental reasearch and literature review. To do it, we searched for a definition of the concept of indoctrination through research on MESP’s site law projects as well as the reading of Miguel (2016) and Penna (2017). After that, we studied Piaget’s theoretical assumptions concerning cognitive and moral development, trough his own works, to establish a comparison between them and MESP’s indoctrination idea. We concluded that Piaget’s theory, in its learning and moral proposals, opposes to MESP’s conception.
