Paraíso perdido: saúde mental em tempos de pandemia

Abstract

This work proposes the production of a mini-documentary that addresses the effects of isolation, caused by COVID-19, in people who already suffered from disorders psychiatric disorders before the plague, especially depression and anxiety. The work “Paradise Lost: mental health in times of pandemic” inserts testimonies of individuals with some mental disorder, in addition to a health expert on how prolonged exile influences the symptoms. The film also exalts the importance of art in this setting, and has the duration of 31 minutes. It is hoped that this work can contribute to the debate on health in society and in Journalism.
