dc.description.abstractThis work aims to reflect on the Teaching and Learning Process in Children's Music Education in the “Primeiras notas - musicalização infantil” extension course, dealing with an experience report on classes taught in the extension course, in times of pandemic, with children from one to three years old. For a better understanding and theoretical basis, a brief summary on early childhood education, early childhood music education and remote learning was presented in order to set the context in which the work was developed, as well as some considerations about the concept of Teaching-Learning Method in education and the importance of musical education for children, pointing out reflections and studies by authors of education, such as: Freire, Fonterrada, Carvalho, Gomes, Brito, Kubo and Botomé, as well as the documents that conduct basic education and early childhood education in the country. To describe the context of the classes and the “Primeiras Notas musicalização infantile” course, a presentation was made on the organization and functioning of the course, as well as relevant data on the clientele and context of the classes taught. During the report, points that are part of the Teaching-Learning Process in the childhood education were highlighted, such as: contextualized teaching, playful learning activity, the importance of routine for children, body language, analysis and reflection on teaching and learning. These points do not always indicate benefits and resolutions, going towards the objective of the report, generating reflection and problematizing aspects involved in the process, emphasizing the context in which the classes within the “Primeiras notas - musicalização infantil” extension course were developed. Finally, some considerations were made about the work.
