dc.description.abstract | Among the last decade it was easy to notice a lot of health care providers becoming insolvent in Brazil and not being able to honor their compromises to debtors or beneficiaries. Looking for solutions, more and more papers have been talking about those health care providers’ insolvency, not only in data analysis but also trying to predict their reserve funds to maybe comprehend the main causes, effects and how to avoid insolvency. This paper main goal is to understand the Brazilian’s health care providers’ scene during the years 2012 to 2016, trying to knowledge in which situations they are e how much of their revenues are used to pay their debts. Not only this, the paper makes analysis considering the modalities, the size and the Brazilian regions of which heath care providers, so their particularities will be the same and their variabilities small. The results show that the health care providers can be found in a solvency state during the studied years, but that their revenues almost can’t pay off all their annual debts, indicating low profitability e a huge use of their risk reserves. | |
