This work intends to examine the American influence present in the film For All – Trampolim da Vitória (1997) as well as to identify the representation of its characters, having as a central point the analysis of ten specific scenes of the work, observing the possible changes In the language of Natal's citizens, their habits and the local culture itself. The research sought to gather information regarding the historical context as well as to draw parallels through the concepts of film analysis, communication and culture, constituting a brief bibliographic review of academic dissertations and theses on the subject. It was understood that as the social relations between both peoples developed over the years, there was a mutual influence, generating a participatory ideal for the city's imagination during World War II.Este trabalho pretende examinar a influência estadunidense presente no filme For All – Trampolim da Vitória (1997) bem como identificar a representação de seus personagens, tendo como ponto central a análise de dez cenas específicas da obra, observando as possíveis mudanças na linguagem dos cidadãos natalenses, nos hábitos e na própria cultura local. A pesquisa buscou levantar informações referentes ao contexto histórico bem como traçar paralelos através dos conceitos de análise fílmica, comunicação e cultura, constituindo-se em uma breve revisão bibliográfica das dissertações e teses acadêmicas sobre a temática. Compreendeu-se que a medida em que as relações sociais entre ambos os povos se desenvolveram ao longo dos anos, houve uma influência mútua, gerando para o imaginário da cidade um ideal participativo durante a segunda guerra mundial.
