dc.description.abstractThe goal of project is to analyze and collect data on the pre-molded column base connection behavior through the socket’s base. The Finite Element Method (FEM) will be adopted for the execution of the modeling, through the Structural Analysis Program (STRAP) to obtain results. For the analytical part of the experiment, the NBR 9062 (2017) is the best method, as it represents the work and execution for pre-molded concrete structures and buildings as well as other procedures related to make a comparative study between sockets that have pedestal wall with a smooth, rough interface and with shear key. Moreover, one can conclude a thorough analysis this type of connection, whereas through the analytical section it is noted less results for sockets that have pedestal wall with a rough interface, while through the numerical analysis, it can be confirmed the socket behavior provided in ABNT NBR 9062 (2017) and previous studies.
