Escola de Música Municipal Maestro Claudionor de Oliveira: prática e o ensino de música através do teclado

Abstract

This paper presents an experience report on teaching music through electronic keyboard at the Municipal School of Music Maestro Claudionor de Oliveira Goianinha located in the municipality Goianinha, in the state of Rio Grande do Nor te. The work is based on the theoretical model Spiral Music Development Keith Swanwick and T.E.C.L.A. Method Empirical data were collected from targeted group lessons during the period from June to December 2011. The subjects were children aged between 9 and 11 years of age, adolescents and adults. All students enrolled in the workshop of the School of Electronic Keyboard Maestro Music Hall Claudionor de Oliveira. The paper describes activities undertaken during the period mentioned above and the operability of students in learning music. The results demonstrate that, despite the challenges encountered during the process, the resources and strategies used led students to the desired operability, facilitating musical learning.
