Resumen
Inserted in the field of research on History Teaching, this work has as main objective to
contribute to the improvement of historical learning through the analysis of historical textual
sources available in digital environments. At the State School Dr. César Cals, in Fortaleza - CE,
this demand was identified through the investigation of the uses that students make of the
internet in their daily lives, especially through smartphones. With the realization that students
use the information accessed online even for their studies, it is admitted that the qualification
of this use should be one of the tasks of school education. For this purpose, in the context of
History Teaching, it is argued that the exercise of historian's procedures in teaching situations
can contribute to the development of more active (critical and genetic) than passive (traditional
and exemplary) historical consciousnesses. In this sense, this dissertation proposes a set of
activities of analysis of written historical sources available online and that are systematized in
a "Fontímetro"- a didactic tool focused on the exercise and improvement of students' abilities
and that can be used in combination with the most various historical contents.
