Planejamento estratégico: proposta de modelo para a unidade clínica do IMT-RN

Abstract

This work seeks to understand an adequate form of planning in the area of health services, with the object of study to propose a strategic planning model for the clinical unit of the Instituto de Medicina Tropical do RN, from the definition of its organizational identity, environmental analysis and consequent identification of characteristics and scenario in which it operates, seeking to classify the actions to be undertaken. Having as oject of this study is the strategy and execution of services with a focus on the optimization of available resources, the quality of services provided to society in general, in compliance with the Institutional Development Plan and National Public Health Policy. The methodology used in this work was qualitative descriptive research, with a case study approach. The field research techniques used were: observation, meetings and document analysis. The result of the work is the proposal of a strategic planning model to be applied. We conclude that the research will be of great relevance, as it was realized during the research, the importance of strategic planning in organizations, as it is a potentially favorable tool to enable proposing improvements in the organizational structure of the study institution.
