The participation in the generation of electric energy of renewable energy sources has increased over the years. This happened due to the increase of concern about the greenhouse effect and the depletion of non-renewable sources of energy, as well as lower costs of the related equipment. Among them the offshore wind energy stands out, due to its significant growth in installation due for the technology development and costs reduction. The countries that installed more offshore wind farms in Europe are United Kingdom, Germany and Denmark. However, the specific information about offshore wind farms is scarce, often incomplete and difficult to access on open sources. Therefore, the main objective of this research is the proposition of a database structure for the mapping of information about United Kingdom’s, Germany’s and Denmark’s offshore wind farms that includes the useful information to the segment. To this end, the following were carried out: i) Theorical research on renewable energies, wind energy, offshore wind energy, digitalization, information systems, data science and information management; ii) Systematization of information sources on the internet; iii) Research and gathering of the respective data; iv) Description and analysis of these data and, finally, v) The structuration of the achieved results, through the development of the database structure. As result, presents the database structure related to the offshore wind farms of United Kingdom, Germany and Denmark, besides the information generate from the database.
