Um relato de experiência nos cursos de música da Escola de Música Praise Up

Abstract

This work is an experience report about the teaching at Praise Up School of Music, located in the neighborhood of Rosa dos Ventos in the city of Parnamirim / RN. The goal is to show how music teaching is performed in the instrument classes, such as electric guitar, guitar and drums. For this research was adopted as methodology the experience report, the bibliographic research and the empirical knowledge. And as a research tool was used the semistructured interview, conducted with the students of the School of Music.The development took place through the analysis and discussion of the interview samples, showing some particular questions of the students in the classes, as well as the importance of a music school for them. Asaresult, it was concluded that the methodologies used in the classes were satisfactory for the musical development of each student. This work may be of importance in the context of Music Education,as well as it may be useful for the next students and/or researchers who wish to carry out research on the context of instrumental music schools.
