This work investigates as thermophysical properties, specific calorific, dynamic viscosity and kinematic viscosity in fluids based on mineral salts that are used in thermoaccumulation refrigeration systems. The salts were used in magnesium chloride, sodium chloride and calcium chloride. These were sought because of their thermophysical properties, chemical stability, water characteristics, and also exhibit negative corrosivity. The properties data of the secondary fluids were simulated using the SecCool software, using the database of the researcher Melinder. The mass assemblies were included within the values that the computational simulator allowed, in the range of 9% up to 20%. The results obtained for an initial investigational analysis of the melting point of the solutions (water + antifreeze) with the increase of the mass concentration of the solute (mineral salts). It was observed that the specific heat and the thermal conductivity decrease while the kinematic viscosity, kinematic viscosity and capacity increase with the addition of the mass concentration of the solutes. Finally, the magnesium, among the salts, was the antifreeze that presented the set of the best thermophysical properties for the application in refrigeration systems as the secondary fluid.
