Resumen
By its increasing incidence and a high degree of complexity, cancer is a chronic disease having a constant risk of injuries during treatment, favoring the occurrence of incidents during the care given and it proves the need for greater attention to evaluating the quality of care in this area. Therefore, this study aims to build and validate the content of the graphic protocol for the evaluation of nursing care insurance to patients in oncology units. It is a methodological study for the construction and validation of the content of the graphic protocol for the evaluation of a safe nursing care to patients in oncology units, developed in four stages: 1) literature review, with search of evidence levels and identification of items needed to prepare the instrument; 2) construction of the evaluation protocol; 3) content validation by specialists - Delphi Technique; And 4) analytical procedures. Nursing care was structured according to the triad proposed by Donabedian ("structure", "process", "result"), in order to guide the elaboration of the graphic evaluation protocol, together with the scientific and legal recommendations that support the Patient safety in oncology units. The tool google docs was used to systematize the validation of the protocol. As for the selection of the judges who analyzed the instrument in the Delphi Technique, it was intentionally through the Lattes Platform of Curriculum Lattes, based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. 37 judges were selected, for whom the letter of invitation was sent. Of these, 13 returned with the signed Free and Informed Consent Term. In order to obtain consensus in the validation of the protocol, two rounds of the Delphi Technique were necessary, in which in Delphi 1, 10 judges answered the form, and in Delphi 2, eight. Afterward, the data obtained were processed with quantitative analysis, based on the Content Validity Index (IVC). In the end, it was possible to obtain the “Graphic protocol of evaluation of a safe nursing care to patients in oncology units,” validated in its content. It should be noted that all ethical principles involving human beings were applied, with the project already approved by the Ethics and Research Committee (CEP) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), which obtained a favorable opinion with the CAAE # 42951515.7.0000.5537.
