dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to describe, in a reflective way, an experience report performed in a Choirs Regent course, developed by the Employment and Technical Education National Program (PRONATEC) and sponsored by the School Music at UFRN (EMUFRN). The aspects explored are the vocal techniques for future conductors formation. The classes were taught to three different groups from 2012 to 2014. It was used the qualitive research. The data collection was assessed from bibliographic research, documentary and researcher´s participant observation. According to this data, we managed difficulties related to body as a musical instrument. Therefore, we tried to emphasize the vocal technique´s basis depending on physical perception, its importance and applicabilty. In the teaching learning process, the songs were rehearsed using the vocal techniques which enabled the students to join the recital, presenting a rich repertory. At the end of this work, we could realize that the students perfomance was very productive, since the most of students enrolled with a little or without any vocal technique experience and voice development. We hope this will contribute to enlarge the skills of students, conductors, professional and/or amateur choir´s member, singing and vocal technique teacher.
