Visão estratégica por meio do mapeamento de processos utilizando a metodologia BPMN: uma aplicação da Controladoria no Núcleo Permanente de Concursos – COMPERVE/UFRN

Abstract

This work aims to carry out the mapping of the activities processes of the Núcleo Permanente de Concursos - COMPERVE/UFRN, through a system modeling tool, which works with BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation). The object of study is an organization operating in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, which carries out selection processes, competitions and exams at local, regional and national scales. The intention of using the flowcharts is to map your processes as a way to improve your internal activities, as well as your external activities, in addition to understanding the activities in a holistic way, responsibility and relationships between sectors. About its methodology, it is a case study, since its object of study is a single organization. Considering the characterization of the research, regarding the objectives, it is a descriptive research. Regarding the procedures, it is a bibliographic, documental and survey research. About the problem approaching, it is a qualitative research. Regarding the results found, we can say that some sectors had certain problems when developing their core activities. Likewise, it was possible to notice that there are sectors centralizing activities from other organizational levels. Thus, it can be concluded that COMPERVE needs to put into practice the modeling system of its core activities, to assess which activities add value to the entity, to try to eliminate possible production barriers and increasing its efficiency and productivity.
