dc.description.abstractThe present research has as its theme the Analysis of the profile of the individual microentre-preneur-MEI of the city of Natal. The objective of this research is to show the profile of the individual microentrepreneur of the city of Natal-RN. The hypothesis consists of the conside-ration of the profile of the microentrepreneur of the municipality of Natal as a development factor. Methodologically, this is a descriptive and qualitative research, based on information provided by JUCERN. Data collection was done through the application of questionnaires with 15 questions, to 48 mi-cro-entrepreneurs in the 04 (four) administrative regions of Natal. One fact has drawn attention to this: the profile of individual microentrepreneurs is well balanced, that is, 50% are men and 50% are women, those between the ages of 36 and 46 are the most likely to be at risk of starting a venture. Most of those surveyed have high school, the service is highlighted as the largest branch of activity. It is shown, in general, that large numbers of en-trepreneurs started their business as autonomous, in their residence, formalization could bring them the possibilities of prospecting social and financial benefits.
