Resumen
The use of games in the teaching of mathematics has intensified the search for improvements in students' learning of the schools of basic education, are strategies that seek to approximate the curriculum amendments of Brazilian schools with the reality experienced by the student among the social problems, providing opportunities to such the possibility of learning and enhancement of their knowledge in a pleasant way. And it is through this play that these activities arouse students' dedication to studies, and these flowing creativity, logical reasoning and the ability to solve problem situations. Thus, this study aims to contribute to quality education, demonstrating that the games in the classroom can add positively to the process of teaching and learning mathematics, differentiated, dynamic and attractive way. The teacher, through this method can cooperate with the development of concepts, reinforce and clarify content, promote sociability, stimulate creativity, instill the spirit of competition and cooperation. Added to this, the contribution of various scholars that support the writing, as Alves (2001), Grando (2004) and Moura (1994), leading us to understand the relevant use of games in math classes, for it is a excellent tool facilitator of this teaching-learning process. To the end of this study, records up experience with games, fun and pleasurable way, in the wake of order on student interest and liking for mathematics by encouraging and own practice activities, showing some solving strategies and providing the building of knowledge.
