Resumen
The need of remodel roads, to implement sanitary structures, as well some manutence measures for tracks generate waste that have to be destinated correctly. The approval of National Politic of Solid Residues (PNRS), in 2010, make the generator of residue the responsible for its destination, making sustainable and economically viable alternatives their interest. With the difficulty of finding spaces to allocate residues properly, as well as with the growth of its generation, in addition to the possibility of reducing the use of natural resources, it becomes a general interest to develop new possibilities. Therefore, this work aims to study the feasibility of incorporating the residue in question into the concrete of Portland cement and its implications, in order to provide an economical, efficient, safe and environmentally adequate alternative for its destination. For this, the main characteristics of the concrete were investigated from the inclusion of different concentrations of the asphalt residue as a substitute element to the natural aggregate. The reference trait is 1: 2: 3, taking into account its popularity and ease of execution, producing 5 traits with residue contents incorporated in the trace varying between 0% and 100%, with increments of 20%. It was also evalueted the application of the residue in a trait with high consumption of cement. The residue has a fine granulometry and, therefore, considerably absorbed the kneading water of the concrete, thus influencing the workability of the same. Thus, the abatement value decreases with increasing trace concentration in the trace, although there has been no significant change in the resistance of the concrete. These parameters attest to the quality of the concrete produced with residue, allowing its use for different purposes.
