Resumen
The entertainment market is a booming economy today, within this context amusement parks, whether themed, water or indoors have also been expanding. Managing or building a business like this is a complex activity, because it is an experience, involving not only the rational side but the emotional and personal side of consumers. Nevertheless, studies in this context are still not as broad as they could be. The main goal of the work was to understand the experience of visitors from the Water Park Beach Park with an emphasis on hospitality and intent to return. In order to reach this goal, the study used an exploratory-qualitative approach as people who visited Beach Park between 2016 and 2019. Data collection was based on semi-structured interviews with 20 people. For the analysis, the content analysis technique and the software NVivo version 12 were used to assist. As results, the study has proven some research already conducted as the relevance of visitor interaction with other visitors, from attractions and cleanliness to a good experience. On the other hand, the study brought greater importance to the food and showed that the visitors did not expect to be surprised at the water park. This study also reinforced the theory of compensatory satisfaction.
