Ensino de música (violão) em projetos sociais: um relato de experiência na Ong Ilha da Música

Abstract

The present work aims to identify and understand the guitar lessons as well as the musical and social practices that take place in the NGO Ilha de Música, located in the community of Africa in the Redinha neighborhood, in the North Zone of Natal - RN, through authors. that seek to understand music education with these contexts and thus help build a dialogue that would be able to understand how these institutions use music as a means to socialize children and adolescents that most often these NGOs are located in underserved communities. So this work has a qualitative approach that happened through case study to help understand beyond the musical practices that happen within the NGO their social contributions to students living in the community, the results presented show that beyond the sync between Respondents' answers show that in addition to having the opportunity to learn an instrument, they have a chance to see a better path that is provided by the NGO.
