O papel do ensino superior no fomento à economia solidária: narrativas de mulheres do segmento do artesanato

Abstract

The monograph aims to synthesize, based on the History of Life method, what Solidarity Economy represents in the lives of women who are in charge of solidary economic enterprises in the handicraft production segment advised by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN ). Through the life story and the help of the IRAMUTEQ software, the research reveals that women members of solidarity economic enterprises in Natal, in the productive activity of handicrafts, find in the solidarity economy: i) Importance of agents, advisors and partnerships developed in the entire course of the undertakings; ii) Identification of the perspective of community, life, transformation, family involvement and the community as a whole; iii) Relevance and thanks from the agents involved in the entire process; iv) Identification of the income perspective; v) Evaluation of improvement in the structuring of craft groups strongly linked to the support of the university and other bodies responsible for promoting the Solidarity Economy.
