Resumen
The present study aims to understand the importance of forro as musical genre of the Northeast Culture, as well as to evidence the possible influences of native contacts suffered with English and American culture, on the occasion of the construction of Railway and the installation of the military Base in Parnamirim/RN, in different moments. The methodology applied were qualitative research. In this context are presented public statements of local and national artists available on video-sharing platforms (YouTube), literary works, as well as on-site visits in the Cowboy Museum located in Bom Fim Farm, in São José de Mipibu/RN, in order to portray the challenges faced by singers in front of an adverse phonographic market, once the forro bands, from in your training in the Ceara State, began to occupy a significant Lode along to the public. The results observed indicate that the Rio Grande do Norte state, as a whole, suffered the influence of the foreign presence in their habits and customs, as for example in the language, which comes loaded with words in the English language. For all that has been found, it should be noted the value of the Cowboy Museum Project/Forro da Lua seeking to keep alive the origin of the Forro (Forro de Raiz). Although the site maintain a loyal following, that number is still low representation. Therefore, we can say that it is a tourism product unique and true to the Northeast culture.
