Resumen
This course conclusion work deals with the secondaryization of the Core of Fundamentals of Professional Work in the production of knowledge at graduation, in its particularity of the UFRN Social Work course, the locus of documentary research. It aims to investigate and analyze the historical-social determinants of the choices and motivations of the research objects of undergraduate and graduate students of Social Work at UFRN theoretically systematized in the Course Conclusion Papers. Thus, it seeks to identify and analyze why these motivations do not address the discussions about professional practice and professional training, that is, the themes that comprise the Core of Fundamentals of Professional Work. We start from the assumption that the complex social relations and societal transformations that have been occurring in the context of Brazilian capitalist sociability bounce off the old and new historicalsocial dynamics, influencing and complexifying the world of work, work processes, social policies, including politics education and, in turn, professional training at the higher level of the social worker. Of a documentary and bibliographic nature, the present work follows a critical perspective of analysis of its object, based on the historical, theoretical and methodological foundations of Social Work, linked to the other foundations that focus on knowing society, to mediate the analysis of determinants that affect the choice of research objects by and students of the UFRN Social Service course. In a critical perspective, we opted for the ontological construction of knowledge, while it became necessary to bring out the importance of the investigative dimension and its relationship with the intervention dimension, both for the construction of theoretical systematizations and of research as a whole, as well as for daily professional performance. The systematized and analyzed information made it possible to identify the existence of a secondary aspect of the debate on training and professional practice in a large part of the choices of undergraduate and graduate students of Social Work at UFRN, with a prioritization of themes related to the other two nuclei - Fundamentals Nucleus Theoretical-Methodological of Social Life and the Socio-Historical Formation Fundamentals Group of the Brazilian Society - without establishing a relationship between its research objects and the debate of the profession in its dimensions of training and professional practice, which have as reference the theoretical and critics produced by our intellectuals and researchers to understand Social Work in society. This phenomenon places in the category the indispensability of the investigative attitude around Social Work itself: it is necessary to research, debate and discuss more about the exercise and professional training. It is argued that the founding nuclei show the transversal logic between the three levels, that is, singular-particular-universal, and requires undergraduate students, in their formative process, the understanding of the existence of an intrinsic relationship between all, eliminating potential fragmentations of the knowledge process and the dissociations between them.
