Gestão do projeto de desenvolvimento do Erp-pop system no Pop RN

Abstract

The work presents a study regarding the structure of project management of the ERP PoP-RN System, which will be developed by PoP-RN, responsible for Internet distribution for universities and federal schools throughout Rio Grande do Norte state by optics fiber networks. The objectives are: to analyze the current project management structure of PoP-RN, to identify its strengths and weaknesses, then to imply tools and practices that can strengthen this management. The research was developed by a case of study based on PMBOK model analysis of PMI (Project Management Institute). Data collection was done through an interview with those involved in the project and responsible for PoP-RN. Results show that PoP-RN has proper management when compared to PMBOK, due to the systems they developed for project management called ActivPoP, as well as the management of the integration carried out by the coordinators, with only a few practices to be improved to make ERP design with optimal flow, as the monitoring and measurement of the activities of the students involved.
