The present work has as objective to analyze these educative potentials to propose and to construct proposals of History teaching in the Ceará Museum (CM), starting from some objects, as well as their expository modules. Modern museums have surpassed the traditional conception of a material conservatory, barren place, ivory tower of the knowledge of the past. One no longer conceives the idea of a museum as a magical place, which causes enchantment in the face of objects and collections. As privileged spaces for the conservation of the material heritage of a people, museums have the ability to collect, teach, and innovate, they are not watertight places, of contemplation of history through the crystallization of the past contained in objects, but places of balance and imbalance, of certainties and doubts, of dialogue and observation, are alive and reinvented through their narratives. The Ceará Museum, today, is an important educational space because, in addition to teaching history through its own didactics, the "generating objects" methodology promotes the education of the look through the reading of objects, images, sounds, as well as by conducting seminars, training courses, disseminating knowledge through the publication of scientific works. The writing of history and the evocative power of memory are prolonged in museums by looking at objects, observing subtitles, listening to the monitors' narrative, resignifying the understanding of what is being shown through our experiences, interests, as we take notes - the Past tense expands through the questions of now. For the production of the present work we explored several types of historical sources: newspapers, legislations, academic productions, reference literature, as well as documents produced by the Ceará Museum (administrative reports, reports of the educational nucleus). We also made use of reports produced by students of the basic education of EEM Branca Carneiro de Mendonça, from field classes in the CM space, for the production of class scripts in the Ceará Museum, using the heritage education methodology. There is an inseparable and particular relationship between the links of memory, experience and place in a visit to museums, which are useful in the process of acquiring knowledge based on their own language and communication - criticality, the foundation of citizenship and the History teaching, is worked on the perception of the construction of recollections, on the questions about what is said, why it is spoken, how it is spoken, who is speaking, and what are the purposes of speech.
