dc.descriptionThe research was based on the study of the current physical and managerial situation of the tourist attractions that are registered by the Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (IPHAN) of the municipality of Acari, located in the State of Rio Grande do Norte, which are the Historical Museum of Acari (the old town hall and jail) and the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary. The objects of study were chosen in order to analyze the management of these buildings by party the agencies that manage them. The buildings are part of the historical heritage of the formation of the city, and taking this information into consideration, we were also studying the history of the place. We have researched since its colonization in the 17th century, up until the present day in the 21st century. We obtained the sources some authors that treat with culture, cultural historical patrimony, history of Acari, and use of heritage in tourism, for example, Canclini (1999), Cifelli (2015), Galvão (2013), Geertz (2008), IBGE, IPHAN, Laraia (2003), Macedo (2004), Malinowski (1975), Ministério da Cultura, Ministério do Turismo, Morais (2016), Portuguez (2004), Rosa (1974), Sala (1990), SETUR – RN, Simão (2006), among others. Besides that, we went to the field to get more information and also to capture necessary images for the research. Through this, we tried to answer the problematic that was in what way the tourist attractions of the city of Acari, linked to the IPHAN were managed.
dc.descriptionA pesquisa teve como objetivo o estudo da atual situação física e gerencial dos atrativos turísticos que são tombados pelo Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (IPHAN) do município de Acari, localizado no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, que são o Museu Histórico de Acari (a antiga casa de câmara e cadeia) e a Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Rosário. Os objetos de estudo foram escolhidos com o intuito de analisar a gestão desses prédios por parte dos órgãos que os gerenciam. Os prédios fazem parte do patrimônio arquitetônico histórico da formação da cidade, e levando essa informação em consideração, fomos também estudar a história do lugar. Pesquisamos desde sua colonização no século XVII, até os dias atuais no século XXI. Obtivemos como fontes alguns autores e órgãos públicos que tratam sobre cultura, patrimônio histórico cultural, história de Acari, e utilização do patrimônio no turismo, como por exemplo, Canclini (1999), Cifelli (2015), Galvão (2013), Geertz (2008), IBGE, IPHAN, Laraia (2003), Macedo (2004), Malinowski (1975), Ministério da Cultura, Ministério do Turismo, Morais (2016), Portuguez (2004), Rosa (1974), Sala (1990), SETUR – RN, Simão (2006), entre outros autores. Além disso, fomos a campo para conseguirmos mais informações e também capturarmos imagens necessárias para a pesquisa. Mediante isso, tentamos responder a problemática que foi a de que maneira era gerido os atrativos turísticos da cidade de Acari, vinculados ao IPHAN.
