Resumen
Supplemental Recovery Methods are techniques used by the Oil and Natural Gas industry as a means of increasing the oil recovery efficiency present in the deposits of sedimentary basins. One of its aspects is the Water Injection, which aims to recover the remaining oil after the Primary Recovery occurred. In this Undergraduate Thesis, was made a study of the process of Water Injection applied to a light oil reservoir with characteristics of the Brazilian Northeast was done. For the analysis of the project data, was used the CMG Launcher Technologies 2012, IMEX numerical simulator. Comparisons were made between projects with different injection meshes and was chosen the best project according to the Oil Recovery (Or). It was also observed that depending on the configuration of the wells, injection flows and well completions; they had a direct influence on the results of the Cumulative Oil (Np), Oil Recovery and the Oil Rate (Qo). The scheme that presented the highest recovery factor at the end of the project was the five spot, since it was the project that obtained the highest Oil Recovery.
