dc.description.abstractNew business models are emerging constantly and one of these are the so-called junior enterprises that are growing in quantity, billing, projects and participation in higher education universities around Brazil, and this was not different when observed in Rio Grande do Norte. The Junior Enterprises have been transformed and today are one of the main forms of entrepreneurial development systems within the Universities. The Junior Enterprises appear as a way of undertaking within the university, a model that is managed exclusively by undergraduate students, where they develop services and products to the society and private companies, based on the theoretical knowledge exposed in the classrooms. However, the need of these companies to develop collide in the technical knowledge of organizational strategy. The purpose of this study was to identify the methods, information, involvement of agents and tools that are commonly used and implemented from the management models present in these junior enterprises. Strategic Planning for junior enterprises is a direction to be followed in pursuit of a business and organizational development that will lead these companies to success.
