This paper aims to analyze the impacts of the territorial expansion, during the military regime, in relation to Mato Grosso do Sul’s traditional societies located in the border region. The focus lies in the violation of human rights of these people, mainly through the National Truth Commission reports.Este trabalho propõe-se a realizar uma análise dos impactos da expansão territorial, durante o regime militar, junto às sociedades tradicionais do Mato Grosso do Sul localizadas na faixa de fronteira. O foco reside nas violações dos Direitos Humanos desses povos, a partir, principalmente, dos relatórios da Comissão Nacional da Verdade.
