Relatam como sua criação articulou as funções de ensino, pesquisa e extensão, caras a museus universitários, dado que sua preparação contou com a participação de professores e alunos do Instituto de Artes da UFRGS em diversas frentes. O Catálogo contribuiu, assim, para a pesquisa e o ensino da História da Arte e de Artes Visuais, bem como para a legitimação, salvaguarda e extroversão do acervo junto à comunidade.
Abstract
In this interview, Blanca Brites (PPGAV/UFRGS) and Paulo Gomes (PPGAV/UFR-GS) discuss the process of elaborating the General Catalog of the Pinacoteca Barão de Santo Ângelo, launched in 2015, and its meanings for the institution. They report how its creation articulated the functions of teaching, research and extension, dear to university museums, given that its preparation had the participation of professors and students from the Arts Institute of UFRGS on several fronts. Thus, the Catalog con-tributed to the research and teaching of History of Art and Visual Arts, as well as to the legitimization, safeguarding and extroversion of the collection within the community. | pt-BR |
