dc.descriptionThis article identifies teleological meanings in Article 217 of Brazil’s Federal Constitution, based on their genealogy. A descriptive-exploratory research method was adopted including analysis of the documents produced by the National Constituent Assembly. It found that different themes were added in a somehow unsystematized way, focusing on defending private interests. The right to sport was not a priority and its inclusion in the text was mere rhetoric. en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo del trabajo ha sido identificar los significados teleológicos adyacentes al Artículo 217 de la Constitución Federal, a partir de su genealogía. Se adoptó una investigación descriptiva-exploratoria con análisis de los documentos producidos por la Asamblea Nacional Constituyente. Se observó que diferentes temas fueron agregados de manera poco sistemática, dando prioridad a la defensa de intereses privados. El derecho al deporte quedó en segundo plano y su inserción en el texto fue mera retórica.  es-ES
