Um cemitério vivo: memória de infância em espiral para reativar a experiência estética

This article is based upon a communication made by the author in 2012 whose focus lied on an existential hypothesis of art teaching and learning based upon what the author calls a spiral approach. To do so, the teacher must not underestimate the previous experience of children and young students, searching for an anthropological and biographical understanding of their experiences, leading them to their own poetics. The author’s purposal is that art curriculum gets more flexible, so that the teacher will conduct creative processes in the movement of Birth, Life and Death. Doing so can lead us to a new lexical, where theater becomes theatricalities, music turns into musicalities, visual arts into spatialities and dance into corporalities. According to this way of thinking, feeling and being, we must get into artistic-existential fields, where the center of the purposal is the child and the young student themselves, instead of theories or curriculum documents previously designed by the adult community, searching for a new relational path in between teacher and students.
