dc.description.abstractThe education of community health workers is a serious problem that directly reflects the perception and understanding of users, identified through their lack of information. Thus, the objective of this intervention will be to sensitize the community health workers of Unidade Básica de Saúde Itaipú-Jatobá in Belo Horizonte, MG, through the performance of health professionals using educational actions. This educational intervention project focused on the community health workers capacity building focuses on best practice-based topics and updating. As a result, it is expected an improvement of the effective performance of the community health workers can improve the local health reality. The activities carried out through training will enable discussions and analysis of local health problems as well as may indicate a lack of knowledge on certain topics. The strategic actions carried out in this intervention may contribute to the strengthening of Good Health Practices.
