Introduction: The Course of Specialization in Educational Management in Technical Schools Health System - ETSUS Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG, through the Thematic Centers and activities performed by the students, as well as the exchanges made with the multidisciplinary team Vocational Education Center of Health of the State of Goiás - CEP - Health, awakened to the need for further study of the topic Institutional Assessment. Objectives: To subsidize and support the construction of the Project Institutional Assessment (self-assessment) for the Center for Health Professional Education - CEP - Health Goiás. Methodology used to document research and involved the subjects participating in the process that contributed to approach more proper object of study. For the implementation of this project will be required to submit the proposal and convince the manager and the school community of its feasibility and applicability. The proposal in its wake behind the design of Institutional Assessment democratic and participatory, and involves the formation and qualification of the Standing Committee on Assessment - CPA. This qualification involves the school community relying on the advice of the Federal University of Goiás-UFG partner of the State Department of Health - SES-GO. After the signing of the cooperation and technical definitions of responsibilities between the parties, begins the qualification of CPA and conceptual alignment in relation to the theme, through internal workshops, setting the standards and indicators to be included in the project. Concomitantly the workshops the Commission begins drafting of Institutional Assessment and development and testing of instruments to be used for self-assessment. Then the analysis and adjustments to the instruments and validation of the same, it follows the development of the project and begins planning for its implementation with the definition of a schedule. The operationalization of Institutional Assessment Project will conclude with the consolidation of the results report is elaborated analytical / comparative and set the channels for their dissemination. Results: The constitution of the Standing Committee of Evaluation and its path in search of knowledge to lead the process of institutional evaluation (self-evaluation), allows adding knowledge to the role of educator, propose actions to achieve the indicators, besides contributing to the institutionalization of evaluation institutional. Projects Institutional Assessment, Educational Policy and Institutional Development Plan articulated subsidize the school management in decision making and its implementation.
