This work aims to understand the developments of contemporary art, circumscribed in the
field of Visual Arts. Primarily from the 1960s onwards, in an attempt of working with a hermeneutic that focuses on some flexible conceptual/epistemological foundations, necessary for a pedagogy of teaching/learning in Visual Arts directed at elementary and secondary education. This study is in accordance with the procedures found in the document Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais: artes (BRASIL, 1997).
