The objective of this work is to plan the supply of products of the fruit line and vegetables (FLV) of a incomer to Belo Horizonte retailer, organizing the transport of those products from the distribution center to the stores, so to ensure process efficiency. Consequently, the theoretical framework adresses the urban distribution concepts of goods, a segment of fruits and vegetables, and fleet management. The research has the locus of a retail branch company, about which we conducted a case study. As to the objectives, the research is characterized as being of applied nature and quantitative approach. The methodology also presents the steps for the new planning proposal. The results indicate the need for changes as to how the process is currently running, starting with the routing of the FLV line separately, considering its specificities. From this, it is suggested that an optimization of the resources used, particularly with regard to the use of refrigerated trucks, and a consequent reduction of costs.
