dc.description.abstractThe cardiac arrest is one of the critical points in a adult patient care, and the nursing role has a great importance for the success of the service. The training team becomes crucial in this process, and the use of realistic simulation of a method increasingly used teaching strategy.The research project aims to analyze the nurses perception on the use of realistic simulation as cardiopulmonary resuscitation teaching strategy at a private hospital in Minas Gerais. This is a qualitative approach and uses the focus group as technique for data collection. The data will be analyzed using content analysis. We believe the results of this study may help identify the strengths and difficulties of realistic simulation as a teaching strategy in cardiopulmonary arrest.
