Planejamento das ações em saúde bucal na ESF-Avaí em Jacinto/MG, na atenção a crianças e adolescentes de 6 a 12 anos

Abstract

Dental carie is a disease that affects people at all ages, and may impact overall health and quality of life of population. Groups of children aged 6 to 12 years were examined, from the enrolled area of family health strategy of district Avaí of the municipality of Jacinto/Minas Gerais. Considering the high caries indices, the objective this study was to propose actions, from a literature review, to guide the work process of the dental health team and interfere in the process of caries in the population aged 6 to 12 years. First it was held a territory diagnose, when dental caries raised as the main problem after research on documents and files oral health of municipality. Subsequently a research was held on bases MEDLINE AND LILACS, by articles and thesis, as well to documents of the health ministry. To finish of the promotion, prevention and rehabilitation should be held jointly and in accordance with the needs of the population and the local reality, end being to plan out end to search partnershid with the school.
