dc.description.abstractThe present final paper results from applying a learning situation based on the methodology of development of competencies in professional education, in particular in professional training in nursing technician, taught by SENAC, and aims to contribute to the reflection of more technical training and humanitarian ethics. The increasing interest in the notion of competence and its importance for professional education is the main justification for the proposed theme. In that sense, he has been trying to analyze the changes in vocational skills assessment, searching for new educational paradigms teacher-centric mediator between the knowledge, development of skills and the applicability, linked to the needs of each student. In the learning situation uses a qualitative approach, applying the corresponding methodology, where laboratories were developed practical applicability, and the data obtained were presented through the accompanying forms of development of the learning situation, where the interpretation made it possible to recognize the attitudes on the part of those involved and the correct use of the methodology based on skills, its applicability in your teaching and make the use that the teachers do the same.
