dc.description.abstract | This paper aims to present an overview of public policies to promote equality and respect for ethnic and racial issues. Highlights the Federal Constitution, the Law of National Education Basic Guidelines (LDB), the Statute of Children and Adolescents (ECA), the Statute of Racial Equality as important mechanisms for the issue of setting History and Afro-Brazilian Culture and Indigenous which resulted in the approval of Law No. 10.639 / 2003 and 11.645 / 2008 which included the school system's curriculum ethno-racial issues. From the literature it was found that it was necessary to develop the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and the Teaching of History and Afro Brazilian Culture and African to be put in place the necessary changes in the school curriculum the implementation of Law No. 10.639. | |
