Estratégias para prevenção e controle de carências nutricionais na infância em creche pactuada no Programa Saúde na Escola no município de Ipaba - MG

Abstract

Once comprises a childhood growth and development period, any disorder occurs in this period can have serious consequences for the person adulthood. It is known, however, that both genetic and metabolic factors, such as food, health, hygiene, living conditions and care in general, influence the growth and development of children. This study deals with the development of a proposal for intervention for kindergarten agreed with the Program in the School Health (PSE), the municipality of Ipaba - MG in order to implement strategies for prevention and control of nutritional needs of children and enhance child development, bearing in mind that the food and nutrition understand basic determinants for health promotion and protection, resulting in a better quality of life. It is therefore essential to the implementation of the strategies proposed for the promotion of health education, prevention and control of nutritional needs of children attending the nursery.
