dc.description.abstract | Civil construction is one of the main activities responsible for leveraging the national
economy, however, it stimulates several companies in the market, in which they
produce inputs for use on construction sites. Above all, the construction activity, it is
possible to observe the great waste of materials and rework due to executive failures
or failure to perform in the most appropriate way. In this context, the present study
aimed, as the main objective, to analyze the influence of roughcast in a coating system
with the use of roughcast and another covering without the use of roughcast, and
determining through laboratory tests the tensile adhesion strength. Thus, after
specifying the roughcast and mortar traces, the walls were built in concrete block and
coated, and subsequently subjected to tensile bond strength tests on the 28th day
after the coating was applied. With the tests carried out, it can be concluded that the
roughcast increases the tensile bond strength and creates a better bond between the
substrate/masonry interface. | |
