dc.description.abstract | The literature offers several models of body evaluation with the purpose of finding a better or more appropriate body composition of individuals. Among these, there is the model of two components namely, Lean Body Mass (MCM) and Body Fat Mass (GCM), the favorite of Health Clubs. These models were developed by researchers and are in the northern hemisphere - riddled with segregated populations and similar genomic ancestries together and covering them sample space in studies and research. A database of women 18-34 years of records extracted from the functional evaluation of a health club was formed. These data were submitted to descriptive statistical analysis and multivariate factor analysis of the approach followed by regression analysis. It was concluded with a question: Models of body assessment developed in the northern hemisphere adequately meet Brazilian people with the certainty of our miscegenation versus the hypothesis of segregation of populations of similar genomic features for which they are formulated? This monograph is not intended to answer that question, but stimulate research related to physical education and related services with advanced statistical support to deepen these studies in Brazilian population in his many "Brazils" with materials and methods in the art. | |
