Resumen
Basic Health Unit Pedra Vermelha is located in the mining municipality of Moeda, with 4,689 thousand inhabitants, located in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. Wounds in the lower limbs in diabetic patients with chronic venous insufficiency have become a constant problem in the community, generating impacts for both patients and the health unit and the municipality. The objective of this work is to develop an intervention plan with a view to improving care for patients with lower limb wounds in the area assigned to the ESF Pedra Vermelha, Moeda, MG. The methodology used was Situational Strategic Planning (PES), to define problems, prioritize, describe and explain it, select critical nodes, design operations, identify critical resources, analyze feasibility, prepare and manage the plan. In addition, a narrative review of the literature was carried out in books at the Scientific Eletronic Library OnLine (SciELO) and official government databases. Among the proposed actions, the operative group for addressing healthy habits stands out, in addition to making a protocol on approach and treatment of wounds for the municipality. As a result, good glycemic control of diabetics is expected, optimization of wound treatments, with a consequent reduction in the number of patients with lower limb injuries.
