dc.description.abstract | The present work deals with a research that proposed to reflect the use of an ecological trail in a non formal educational space. The objective was to investigate whether the use of the ecological trail contributes to stimulate students' curiosity and interest in science content worked in the classroom (formal space). The research was conducted qualitatively with the students of the 3rd year of elementary school of a municipal school in the metropolitan region of BH. The trail was built in the nucleus of the Service of Coexistence and Strengthening of Bonds of the municipality of Lagoa Santa that already acts as a place of learning. We used as data collection instruments questionnaires and observations. We found that non-formal teaching spaces have great potential as a place of learning. The trail allowed students a new perception of content through contextualization and contact with new work situations with concrete examples. | |
