Assessoria técnica com interfaces

Abstract

This paper presents a synthesis of theoretic-practical investigations related to technical advice undertaken since 2004 by the research groups MOM (Living in Other Ways) and LAGEAR (Graphics Laboratory for Architectural Experience) at the School of Architecture of UFMG. In the first part, more theoretical, we explore fundamental concepts for the discussion of the subject, mainly distinguishing assistance from advisory service. In the second part we present five concrete cases of advisory service for different social groups in diverse spaces, using the already introduced concepts to discuss them. We finally discuss the guidelines of the adivisory service in each case from the mediation they promote (with interfaces or with the presence of external agents), showing the limits of what we have done so far and the need to develop an advisory method.
